WhatsApp has rolled out a new privacy option for users, to give them more control over their privacy. WhatsApp now allows users to delete messages for up to two days and 12 hours (60 hours in total).
The meta founder and CEO Mark Zuckerberg said” we’ll keep building new ways to protect your messages and keep them as private and secure as face-to-face conversation”.
Among WhatsApp’s new features are; stealth mode, blocking screenshots to “view messages” and silently leaving groups.

WhatsApp now gives smartphone users the ability to curate which contact can see them online while staying hidden from others. The online presence check now gives users the ability to be online without visibly being online. You can also switch people on and off at any time without limit. if you’re a private person you can now stay only hidden online and also choose who you want to talk with.
The new feature enables users to exist in groups silently without notifying group members, now only admins would be notified.
The company also added screenshot blocking for “view once” messages for an added layer of protection.
