It hasn’t been long since Google gave up on cloud gaming, and the company shut down its game streaming service because it wasn’t meeting its expectations. Google hasn’t given up on games yet, because they just announced that Chromebooks from a variety of manufacturers will be able to play games in the cloud.
The company has made deals with NVIDIA, Microsoft, and Amazon so that their gaming app will work with their GeForce now, Xbox cloud, and Luna.
The three Chromebooks that were released were made by Acer, ASUS, and Lenovo. They all had a lot of gaming features to make the gaming experience great.
The Acer Chromebook 516 GE has a 16-inch WQXGA screen with a high resolution of 2560 1500. It also has 8GB of RAM, 256GB of storage, and a number of other features. It can be bought for $649.
The ASUS Chromebook Vibe CX55 flip will start at $399 and have up to 16GB of memory, an Intel Core i7-1165G7 processor, a 15.6-inch 19201080 touchscreen at 144Hz, and USB-A, USB-C, HDMI, and other ports.
And finally, the Lenovo IdeaPad Gaming Chromebook has a 16-inch screen with a 2,5601,600 resolution, just like the Acer device. It also has a Corei5-1235U processor, 8GB LPSDR44266 memory, and up to 512GB PCle 2242 storage. The price will begin at $599.
